Utilcell introduces Model PIN with new digital CAN bus interface

UTILCELL has added a new digital CAN bus version to its Model PIN load pin, now compatible with CANopen and J1939 protocols. This enhancement improves integration with machinery and mobile equipment by offering precise, interference-free digital readings and better real-time diagnostics.

The Model PIN is a custom-built load pin designed to replace existing shafts, providing accurate load measurement in demanding applications such as cranes, lifting systems, mobile machinery, medical devices and transport equipment. Its double-shear design and high-strength stainless-steel construction ensure durability and reliability.

The new digital option complements existing configurations, including IP68 sealing, redundant output, integrated amplifier, connector options, high-temperature versions up to 180°C, and ATEX-certified models for explosive atmospheres.

With this update, UTILCELL continues to expand flexible weighing solutions while maintaining the robust mechanical and analogue performance of the Model PIN.
