LabAsia Malaysia 2013 - Malaysia 4th Laboratory, Analytical Equipment, Instrumentation and Services Exhibition and Conference, on Oct 8-10, 2013, at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

LabAsia is a biennial international exhibition that showcases the latest in laboratory equipment and services. The event is organised by Malaysia Institute of Chemistry (IKM) and ECMI S.E.A. Trade Fairs Sdn Bhd. It was held for the first time in year 2007 in conjunction with the 12th Asian Chemical Congress (12 ACC). Since its inception in 2007, the exhibition has grown from gross space 2,200 sqms to 4,600 sqms in the coming 2013 exhibition which is double the exhibition size.

LabAsia was successfully organized together with an international conference which was Asianalysis X, 10th Asian Conference on Analytical Sciences in year 2009 and CHEMRAWN, 19th IUPAC International Conference on Chemical Research and Applied to World Needs and ExTech and 13th International Symposium on Advances in Extraction Technologies 2011.

In conjunction with LabAsia 2013, 3-day International Conference on Water and Waste Water Management (ICWWM 2013), “Water for Life” will be jointly organized by Malaysia Institute of Chemistry (IKM) and The National University of Malaysia (UKM).

LabAsia 2011 had 155 exhibitors demonstrating their latest technologies from 33 countries. In addition, group pavilions from China, Germany, India and Singapore also exhibited their most advanced equipment and technologies. In 2013, overseas groups from China, Germany, Korea, India, Singapore and Taiwan are joining us. In LabAsia 2013, we anticipate:

Number of exhibitors to DOUBLE
Overseas exhibitors to increase by 25% from ASEAN countries
Number of visitors to DOUBLE
Number of ASEAN countries visitors to increase by 25
