GlobeWeigh automates Culmore Landfill weighbridge

GlobeWeigh (UK) - GlobeWeigh has recently upgraded an existing weighbridge at the old Derry City Council landfill site in Culmore. The landfill is being restored and the weighbridge has been converted to "unmanned operation".

Authorised vehicle registration numbers are stored on the GlobeWeigh Aweighsys Software system which is linked to an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) camera. The system allows the authorised vehicles onto site, ensures they are correctly positioned on the bridge via ultra violet beams, weighs them and then raises the entry barrier. Full reporting is available from the software.
