FUTEK Releases New Miniature S-Beam Load Cell: LSB205

FUTEK Advanced Sensor Technology, Inc. (USA) – FUTEK released the LSB205 Miniature S-Beam Jr. Load Cell 2.0. This miniature S-Beam style load cell has a capacity range from 1 to 100 lb. and is built for in line tension and compression applications.

The LSB205 has an integrated IEEE 1451.4 TEDS chip, which makes set up and calibration of the sensor with electronics easy. This unique miniature load cell also includes a PT-1000 temperature sensor this allows for temperature changes in applications to be monitored.

Other features include:

• Detachable 7 Pin FUTEK Receptacle
• Heat treated stainless-steel flexure design
• Light weight, miniature size
• Shock and vibration resistant
• Integrated overload protection

This innovative load cell also includes a higher fatigue life, an increased resistance to off-axis loading, and a quick disconnect cable design aimed to decrease cable rips and tears. Additionally, the cable can be easily altered to allow for custom lengths.
