FOUR-fold time savings. On this device, calibrating a 12-channel pipette takes 1.5 hours rather than 6 hours for standard solutions. This is primarily due to the process being automated, which eliminates human error.

The AP-12.5Y is designed for the calibration of multichannel pipettes starting at 10 μl, and single-channel pipettes. It has a readability of 0.00001 g and can calibrate up to 12-channel fixed-volume and variable-volume pipettes.

Other features of the device include:

• Ambient Light alerts, signalling the need to empty weighing vessels;
• pipettes and calibration reports databases that can be edited;
• ambient conditions monitoring – calibrated THB P (ambient conditions measurement) and THB W (liquid temperature measurement) sensors, according to ISO 8655;
• a tablet supplied with the device that allows the user to create a pipette calibration order and print a report.
