Utilcell and UPC extend their partnership at the 2025 European Rover Challenge

Utilcell (Spain) – Press Release: UTILCELL is proud to have once again collaborated with the UPC Space Program, supporting the GRASS team in the 2025 European Rover Challenge (ERC) held in Krakow, Poland.

Competing among 100+ teams from over 30 countries, the team reached the final stage, achieving 20th place with their rover GAIA II, which completed tests in navigation, robotic arm control, photography, and environmental data collection.

UTILCELL provided precision load cells and weighing electronics, ensuring accurate weight measurements—an essential factor in the rover’s performance.

We congratulate the UPC Space Program for their remarkable work and look forward to continuing this partnership in future challenges, advancing together in robotics and space innovation.
